WHAT IS HYPNOSIS?
Hypnosis is a very relaxed state of mind that creates all of the conditions needed to allow us to be much better at learning new ways of thinking. Hypnosis is just like being in between asleep and awake; a relaxed, quiet, focused, receptive and imaginative state of mind that we enter into every day (at least twice and usually a lot more). As you’re falling asleep, it’s not until the mind starts to quiet down that we eventually fall asleep. And as we’re waking up, our dreams become so vivid. It’s this relaxed and receptive state of mind that is ideal for learning, and that’s exactly what all clients do; they learn new ways of being.
WHAT DOES IT FEEL LIKE IN HYPNOSIS?
Hypnosis feels like the most wonderfully relaxing daydream you’ve ever had. In hypnosis, we can still hear what’s being said to us and despite what we see in the movies, we still have 100% control. We’re just so relaxed that our minds become more receptive to the new learning’s we want. If a person is unwilling to accept new learnings, they won’t. If they are, they will.
OK, SO I KNOW IT’S PERFECTLY SAFE BUT HOW DO I KNOW HYPNOTHERAPY WORKS?
Let’s use smoking as an example. The University of Iowa gathered 600 research papers, covering 72,000 test subjects who were attempting to stop smoking. Despite the fact that the most common methods involve nicotine patches, only 10% of the successes came from this method. Hypnotherapy, which is a fast growing but still less common tool was in fact the most successful of every method to stop smoking. Over the years, Hypnotherapy has become more and more validated by objective scientific evidence.
DO YOU TREAT PATIENTS WITH SEVERE HEALTH PROBLEMS?
Enter the Answer to Question here. Be thoughtful with your answer, write clearly, and consider adding examples. This can help your visitors get the help they need quickly and easily.
WHY IS HYPNOTHERAPY SO SUCCESSFUL?
Because it works with the most powerful part of the brain, not against it. When almost all of our emotions, beliefs and behaviours come from our unconscious mind, it’s the unconscious mind that matters most. Our beliefs create our reality. Instead of struggling with willpower to avoid the temptation of chocolate or cigarettes, let’s just love healthy living. Instead of brutally pushing yourself onto an aeroplane or in front of an audience, shaking your boots all the while, let’s just feel calm and relaxed during the process. Your new beliefs are going to make changing your problem an experience that not only wonderfully transforms your life in the easiest way possible, it’s going to bring a very big smile to your face because the way it happens is fun, safe, simple and very enjoyable.
SOUNDS INTERESTING! WHAT ARE SESSIONS LIKE AND WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?
Sessions last between 90 minutes – 2 hours at a cost of £175-£225 per session, depending on the issue. First we will talk about what you’re looking to gain and agree on how to get there. If this is your first time in hypnosis, we’ll understand exactly how the hypnosis works and you’ll understand how your mind is going to be transformed to finally work in your favour. Then we finish the session with the hypnotherapy and you carry on the rest of your day with a big smile, feeling really relaxed.
HOW MANY SESSIONS ARE WE GOING TO NEED?
The number of sessions needed vary but an average is between 2-4 sessions, depending on how specific or general the problem is and how long it’s been around.
DO YOU HELP TREAT TERMINAL OR CHRONIC ILLNESS?
Suffering from a serious illness like cancer can have a debilitating impact on people's wellbeing. Although i cannot cure cancer, i have given many clients a greater sense of inner strength and peace of mind while they undergo chemotherapy and other forms of treatment.
WHY DID YOU BECOME A HYPNOTHERAPIST?
From my earliest years, it was always clear that i'm motivated by making other people's lives better. While this is a service, what matters most to me is improving the lives of others. Darting between unfulfilling jobs, i decided that i needed to put my qualities and personality to best use. After having been freed from smoking by Hypnotherapy, i researched what makes someone a good Hypnotherapist and from the very first day, it fits me perfectly. I never looked back
